In 1994, a forester named Alexandru Ionescu and his wife Maria stumbled upon this hidden Carpathian valley. Where others saw timber, they saw a sanctuary — a place that could offer weary souls the gift of true nature.
They built the first cabin with their own hands, sourcing every stone from the riverbed and every beam from sustainably harvested forest. Word spread quietly. Guests returned year after year. The resort grew organically, like the forest around it.
