FAQs

What is the difference between CC and OD?
Cash Credit is primarily sanctioned against stock/debtors for trading/manufacturing businesses. Overdraft is typically linked to your current account or secured by FD/property. Both are revolving facilities but differ in security type and primary use case.
How is interest calculated on CC/OD?
Interest is charged daily on the outstanding utilized amount — not on the sanctioned limit. If you've been sanctioned ₹50 Lakh but have used only ₹10 Lakh, you pay interest only on ₹10 Lakh. This makes CC/OD very cost-effective.
How often does the CC/OD limit need to be renewed?
Most CC and OD limits are reviewed and renewed annually. With good repayment history and growing business financials, you can also request a limit enhancement at renewal time.
